Plastisol ink for CMYK printing [set]
76.30 €
Color: CMYK set
Properties
PLAST-PF is a highly covering paint for dark, medium-colored and light-colored textiles, which has very good resistance to washing, is easy to print and does not dry in a sieve. It must be thermally dried and fixed at 160°C. It is suitable for direct or transfer printing. Can be printed on cotton, blended fabrics, polyester and many synthetic fibers. All colors can be mixed together. It is almost odorless and free of phthalates and heavy metals.
Recommendation
A solvent-resistant emulsion such as FLX SCREEN Hybrid photoemulsion must be used to create the template. A standard 70 Shore trowel is usually used for plastisol paints. However, for very fine details and photographic grids, we recommend a harder 75 Shore or 80 Shore squeegee.
For printing on dark textiles, we recommend screen printing frames with fabric 43T - 55T. We recommend 55T to 80T for light fabrics or detailed motifs.
Brilliant and glittering colors (gold and silver) should be printed with a coarse mesh of 32T to 47T. For special shades (pearl and glow-in-the-dark) we also recommend the 32T silkscreen fabric, as particularly strong effects can be achieved this way.
Preparation
Before printing, the paint must be allowed to cool down to room temperature (ideally 25°C) and then mixed well with a spatula. The initially somewhat solid colors become smooth. Printing is greatly improved by this short step.
Concealment
PLAST PF colors perfectly cover dark and black textiles. Only fluorescent neon colors and CMYK colors are generally less opaque. If you want to print on dark fabric, you must first underprint with white FLASHWEISS .
Regarding opacity, it must be mentioned that it largely depends on the amount of paint applied. If you want to achieve the highest possible coverage on dark fabrics, you should first choose a color permeable mesh (eg 43T - 55T).
All colors can be overprinted several times until the desired coverage is achieved. Either the "print-intermediate drying-print" principle or simply "wet to wet".
Heat setting/drying
Thermal fixation is ideally carried out indirectly using an intermediate dryer (flash dryer) or, for large series, using a drying tunnel. Fixing with a thermopress is also possible if the paint has previously been dried with a heat gun.Fixation takes place over the entire surface at 160°C for 40 - 90 seconds. The actual fixation time depends on the color application and fixation method. Individual washing tests are recommended before large productions.
Cleaning
To clean the sieve, first remove as much paint as possible from the sieve with a spatula. Then dry with a cloth or an old t-shirt. Finally, the screen is cleaned with a suitable screen cleaner, such as the effective ECO SCREEN WASH .
Storage/shelf life
If possible, store the paint above freezing point and in a closed container. Protect from direct sunlight. The shelf life is 2 to 3 years.
