WASHOUT-AQ is a biodegradable cleaner for water-based paint that reliably removes paint residues from mesh and thus prevents ghosting. It can also be used to clean printing tables and work tools (squeegee, painter's spatula). Unlike many common strainer cleaners, this product can be flushed down the drain
Application
After the printing is finished, the rough paint residues are first removed with a suitable spatula. Kitchen towels, an old t-shirt or a dry cloth are then used to soak up the coarse paint residue. Alternatively, the paint can also be roughly rinsed with water in the bath. After that, a cleaner is applied to both sides and the remaining paint is wiped off the fabric in a circular motion. After the paint has completely dissolved, the sieve is rinsed with clean water. Always shake the bottle of cleaner thoroughly before use.
A practical tip
WASHOUT-AQ is also great for removing spray adhesive and water-based printed ink from printing plates.
