FLX SCREEN is a popular all-purpose photo emulsion that belongs in every screen printing workshop.

This emulsion is the perfect solution for you if:

You print with plastisol or water-based inks
You expect a single-component emulsion of the highest quality
You want to print fine, rasterized, but also flat motifs
Sometimes you only use small quantities, so you need a product that can be stored for 2 years
You need high resolution and good edge sharpness

Usage

Apply the emulsion to the screen using the coating trough for photoemulsion. The photo emulsion is always applied first to the printing side and then to the scraper side of the screen printing frame. The following applies: the thicker the applied copy layer, the higher the color will be applied to the printing material later. Prints on light fabrics or paper only require a thin application of the emulsion. Preferably 1x on each side of the screen. When printing opaque white on dark fabrics, however, the printing side should be coated twice and the scraper side with 1 or 2 layers.

The coated frame is then left to dry for several hours or it is possible to use a suitable dryer. The frame prepared in this way is then exposed for 4-5 minutes with a 400W halogen bulb or our exposure lamp. The illuminated emulsion becomes hard and therefore the unilluminated parts of the screen can be washed with water, creating a template for printing textiles and other printed matter.

WARNING! It is always necessary to work in a dark room with red or yellow light, otherwise the emulsion will be unintentionally illuminated.
